Renesas Electronics America Inc. is looking for an experienced ATE engineer to work in either our San Jose, CA or Duluth, GA facilities. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance semiconductors. If you are qualified and interested we invite you to apply.


Test development engineers are critical to Renesas'  products.  They interface directly with the design team to define unique and novel test modes for our current and future generation products.  Test engineers also play a critical role in working with the applications team to shape the final device datasheet through characterization and DFT activities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, Electronics  
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Strong experience with the Advantest 93K platform
  • Highly skilled in writing code in C++ and 93K test methods
  • Strong background in IC bring-up, production and characterization test
  • Strong fundamentals in ATE hardware architecture
  • Familiar with pattern conversion process using VTRAN is a plus
  • Familiar with scripting language such as python is a plus
