As a member of the Renesas Americas Total Rewards team and reporting to Director of Compensation & Benefits, you will partner with various stakeholders to support the design and administration of Renesas Americas’ compensation programs based on the company’s business strategy, compensation philosophy, competitive market practices and financial impacts.  The successful candidate has a strong background administering competitive and scalable compensation programs in the high-tech industry, is highly analytical, detail oriented, innovative and data driven.  Experience with equity compensation administration is preferred.

What you will do:

  • Provide proactive guidance to HRBPs, talent acquisition partners and managers to monitor and maintain our competitive positioning, balancing internal equity, external competitiveness and financial impacts.
  • Participate in compensation surveys to benchmark and evaluate our compensation program design and market positioning.
  • Assist with development of cash compensation and equity grant guidelines aligned with shareholder interests and market practices.
  • Assist with administration of the company's equity programs to ensure new equity grants, vesting, stock option exercise, tax withholding, terminations are accurately processed and settled in a timely manner.
  • Develop various equity compensation reports for Accounting, Tax and Payroll departments and other internal partners.
  • Educate employees and HR partners on the company’s equity compensation programs to help increase understanding of Renesas’ equity compensation offerings.
  • Develop documents and processes to define compensation program administration and help streamline, automate and improve end-to-end equity compensation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills to think through end-to-end processes and provide solutions.
  • Strict attention to detail required.
  • Advanced Excel skills (must be comfortable using or learning advanced formulas such as macros, indirect, index, offset, match, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact at all levels of employees and managers within the company
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment and agility to balance strategic projects and day-to-day analyses and compensation support
  • Understanding of equity compensation program practices and administration is preferred
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors (HRIS platform) and Equity Edge or Global Shares is desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or HR-related discipline.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a compensation or business analyst, stock plan administrator role in the high-tech industry.
