This position is responsible for supporting daily semiconductor test using ATE and SLT setup and final shipment support in Renesas San Jose test lab.

Typical duties

  • Perform device level testing by hand or using automated handler and test equipment.
  • Visual inspection of parts and preparation for shipment.
  • Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment.
  • Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Debug hardware including ATE boards, sockets and probe cards.
  • Support frequent docking/undocking ATE to Prober/Handler based on daily engineering/production activities.
  • Support off-shift, weekend and holiday activities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience testing semiconductors on ATE or SLT setups.
  • Knowledgeable in basic semiconductor test process.
  • Familiarity with the final visual, packing and shipment of semiconductors.
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft applications – Word, Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task while paying careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
  • Be able to communicate well with engineers and across functional support groups.
