Job Description

Directs sales activities at strategic account. Develop strategies to penetrate new areas within the strategic account. Provides sales leadership for the day-to-day operations of the strategic account, while maintaining a focus on the company’s strategic goals. Establish sales strategic plan to grow business. Role requires development and implementation of account selling strategies to meet or exceed corporate Annual Operating Plan. Manage a dedicated account team and work with cross functional resources to achieve design and revenue goals.
 
Essential Functions:
• Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Lead a dedicated team to generate new design wins and sales orders within the account.
• Coordinate sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company, including collaboration and support for the fulfillment channel (distributors and contract manufacturers) involved in supply to the strategic account.
• Achieve objectives for profitable revenue growth and design ins, and other objectives as determined by executive management.
• Formulate and execute a sales plan and strategy that achieves broad penetration at the strategic account in alignment with marketing roadmaps.
• Establish and maintain personal contact with key customer decision makers to provide effective information flow to and from executive management.
• Prepare an annual operating plan submission for Sales based on projected market conditions, customer status and product availability.
• Manage the timely communication of business level activity forecasting and reporting as required in the normal course of business or as directed by management.

• Work closely with the Product Lines to identify and assess new opportunities for existing products as well as opportunities for new product development.
• Provides CRM support for opportunity tracking.
• Coordinates with Product Lines for customer program bids and price negotiations
• Prepare an annual operating plan submission for Sales based on projected market conditions, customer status and product availability.
• Develop, establish, and direct business to business relationships
• Stay abreast of industry news to be aware of trends that affect the strategic account
 
Qualifications:
• Engineering background with strong power knowledge
• BS engineering or related experience; a minimum of 10 years in a sales management
• Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor processes is required
• Prior experience managing large strategic accounts (10+ years)
• Exemplary Business development & Sales experience
• Experience in managing a team
• Able to drive the development and execution of strategic account sales strategies.
• Strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
• Knowledge and experience with semiconductor sales and support at strategic accounts.
• Promote teamwork and cooperative effort.
• Help train and give guidance to other employees.
• Provide customers with the highest quality products and services.
• Understand and apply appropriate quality improvement processes.
