This program management position reports into the Renesas USA Operations Product Development team within the IoT & Infrastructure Business Unit (IIBU). The candidate will hold a critical position within the management of this organization with areas of responsibility including business process management, analytics, project execution and financial analysis. Working with our global R&D and operations team members located in North America, Asia and Europe, the candidate will require the ability to collaborate with diverse team members in a dynamic and challenging environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Refining and managing the IIBU business process for defining, modeling and executing new product introductions
  • Project manage key initiatives related to business process benchmark, standardization and integration across Renesas facilities worldwide (Japan, US, Europe, Asia)
  • Manage various projects consisting of personnel from various locations and backgrounds
  • Organize, set and document project milestones as well as tracking to completion
  • Coordinate meetings with key stake holders to track progress
  • Consolidate detailed documentations to support completion of projects, including training materials, resolutions and active open items
  • Identify, highlight and coordinate effort to clear bottlenecks that would pose a risk to on-time completion of projects
  • Create executive-level summaries with regular reporting to senior management on key milestones, metrics, risks, risk mitigation plans
  • Define MRDs, SOWs, NDAs, MOUs etc for internal and external project development efforts
  • Perform negotiations with internal and external teams for various initiatives and proactively identify risks and appropriate mitigations
  • Manage team members in North America and Asia

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field; MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in program management or related work
  • 10+ years’ experience working with budgets, resource management and simple financials
  • Well versed in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Power Point and, ideally, Project
  • Self-motivating and high level of ability to manage, influence and set directions for a diverse group of people in multiple geographic regions and time zones, with varying background and technical levels
  • High attention to details and able to pinpoint key information, metrics, fluctuations and roadblocks that would either move forward or hold back completion of projects
  • Able to understand complex projects and able to communicate and summarize issues and solutions to various levels of people within the organization
