Job Summary


Responsible for successful penetration of product portfolio into a regional technology/application market space. Product segment margin, promotion and positioning towards regional sales, customer guidance.


  • Develops regional market strategy
  • Identifies and communicates regional market insights and requirements for the Business Unit’s products
  • Supports New Product Introductions
  • Tailors product supporting material and value proposition to regional customer requirements
  • Conducts competitive research and peer group analysis
  • Guides sales and clients to Business Unit’s solutions
  • Works autonomously within general guidelines, managerial direction
  • Works with key account sales teams to penetrate strategic opportunities within his assigned region
  • Trains Regional Sales Teams and Distis
  • Generate together with regional Sales a complete list of design-in and win opportunities and provide input for the design-win targets. Monitor the quality of data in the assigned regional design-in and design-win list


Your Profile



  • Strong technical background (BSc. EE, MSc. EE or similar) ideally in wireless SoCs with analog mixed signal domain with minimum of 10 years working experience in a technical environment
  • Human relations skills are critical to inspire and motivate key accounts
  • System level know how of Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth
  • Understanding of embedded system-on-chip architectures and embedded systems
  • Understanding of embedded software and software architectures
  • Good understanding of cost engineering and manufacturing
  • Understands distribution network for consumer-based products
  • High degree of autonomy and strong teamwork abilities
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Loads of passion and drive for the business and the technology!


Problem solving

  • Able to analyse sometimes fuzzy client propositions/wishes of high complexity using best practices, based on internal technical knowhow and knowledge of clients’ systems
  • Deep understanding of interfaces among disciplines (Renesas and clients).
  • Establishes and maintains external networks
  • Entrepreneurial drive, result driven and challenge-oriented (capability to select, focus on key product targets and to build momentum with his counterparts)
  • Strong interpersonal skills in international environment
  • Degree in Electronics, more than 10 years industry experience
