<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced individual to fill the role of a Maintenance Supervisor supporting its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Education Requirements: 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">AS or BS in electrical or mechanical engineering, military training, or 10+ years relevant work experience.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience Requirements / Skills: 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">A minimum of 5 years’ experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance (Wafer fab or Probe/Assy/Test).
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">A minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising equipment maintenance technicians.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Strong mechanical skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Strong electronic skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Excellent Oral communication skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Excellent Written Communication skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Demonstrated problem solving ability
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience in equipment calibration control processes, ISO/TS experience a plus.

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Must be able to lift 25lbs.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Essential Job Responsibilities: 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Lead a team of skilled equipment technicians responsible for preventative, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment in Wafer Fab and PAT (Probe, Assembly, Test).
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Supervise hourly technicians including day to day activities, performance management, PTO scheduling, and payroll.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Monitor employee training, ensure needed skills are developed and maintained, create and execute training plans to close any gaps.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Aid technicians in performing equipment troubleshooting and repairs; determine root cause of failures and implement corrective actions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ensure PMs and Calibrations are completed on time with first pass success.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Monitor spare parts inventory and usage to minimize down time and reduce cost of ownership.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Maintain a high degree of cleanliness in the maintenance areas and work areas using 5S methodology.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Collaborate with the equipment engineering as necessary to execute equipment modifications and retrofits of hardware to improve performance, cost, and yield.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Continually seek out opportunities to improve tool availability, line yield, and cost of ownership.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Responsible for reporting equipment performance issues in regular shift meetings and passdowns. 
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Execute tool escalation plans, schedule meetings, document actions, monitor progress and adherence.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Conduct maintenance with a strong safety commitment and mindset.
