Renesas is looking for an Office 365 Administrator / Exchange Administrator to join our Global Collaboration Team and support our growing environment. The position will be key in architecting and supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, Yammer, OneDrive, and other Office 365 services and Microsoft Azure services.  Responsibilities will include the design, configuration, operation, maintenance, of existing and adoption of new, Microsoft 365 services to ensure Renesas is leveraging the platform to the fullest.  The position requires interfacing extensively with end users, peers, and other Information Technology personnel for the resolution or escalation of all technically related incidents.  The candidate will have excellent customer service and strong communication skills to ensure quality service.


  • Deliver subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365 and Exchange 2016 with emphasis in security, design, migration, management and support.
  • Administration, configuration, troubleshooting and support of Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Intune, Azure Active Directory, and other services.
  • Lead or participate in several small to large-sized projects, in a timely, diligent, and professional manner to accomplish the objectives within prescribed scope and schedule.
  • Consult with internal customers, IT leadership, application principals and architects on emerging technology.
  • Document system configurations and build standards for supported environments
  • Resolute dedication to unparalleled customer service and strive for fast turnaround of internal customer requests.
  • Provide technical support for end user functionality, including existing services and peripherals.
  • Work in a team or as in individual and communicate effectively.


  • Subject matter expertise of Exchange 2016 or higher with 5+ years’ experience and emphasis in security, design, migration, management and support of implementations
    • Require Exchange 2016 multisite database availability group (DAG) experience
    • Requires Exchange hybrid experience
  • Subject matter expertise of at least one major Microsoft 365 application (e.g. Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Azure AD, Yammer) with 3+ years’ experience and a proven track-record of administrating complex, large Office 365 environments, including hybrid configuration and Identity and Access management.
  • 3+ years’ experience with administration, configuration, troubleshooting and support of Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Intune, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance suite
  • Experiencing managing structured projects and delivering accountable results in a timely, measured manner
  • Proficiency in PowerShell cmdlets and scripting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders (end users, developers, business units, etc.)
  • Self-motivated with an outgoing personality, consistently demonstrated mental agility, very strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude with a tenacious desire to learn.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision


  • Experience managing multisite Office 365 and Exchange 2016 environments with over 3000 users
  • Azure Active Directory experience
  • Conditional Access, Multi-factor Authentication experience
  • Teams Live Events production experience
  • Azure AD Connect (Directory Synchronization) experience
  • Microsoft Yammer deployment strategy and integration with SharePoint and Teams experience
  • Microsoft Office 365/Microsoft 365 Apps Deployment experience


  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology or a related field
  • A combination of equivalent education and experience may be considered
