Core Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
• The candidate will work with the device engineering and process engineering groups to define, create and install new silicon based technologies in the Renesas Palm Bay wafer fab. The technologies are primarily analog in function and include CMOS, BiCMOS, BCD, and MOSFET architectures. 

• The candidate will specify or modify new process architecture to suit the technology goals.

• The position requires candidate to spend a significant percentage of time in the wafer fab clean room to oversee the new process flow installation on existing or new Fab equipment. 

• The candidate will periodically take ownership of new equipment or unit process modules as required for new process installation.

• The candidate will work with support groups such as reliability, assembly, product and test engineering as well as operations to ensure manufacturing production goals for the new technology are met.

• Intimate knowledge of wafer fab process integration - development a must.

• Personal process module development in PECVD, PVD, HDP, CMP, Litho modules, etc.... desired.  Familiarly with Applied Materials P5000, 5200 Centura, 5500 Endura, Novellus platforms desirable.  

• Statistical analysis capability including the use of DOE's for process definition/limit setting.  The use of JMP,  is a plus.

• Must be self-motivated and service-minded.


Education:

MS in Electrical, Materials, Semiconductor or Chemical Engineering. Minimum ten years working experience in silicon wafer Fab processing.

The ideal candidate would have training in semiconductor physical device theory and have a working knowledge in most or all areas of silicon wafer processing.

Must be a US citizen
