The chosen candidate will work as an individual contributor in the Quality organization focused on supporting new product development, qualification and ramp into production.  Employee will have background including but not limited to semiconductor process technology, failure mechanisms diagnosis, stress testing and analysis.  Candidate will have an understanding of ESD protection, electrical overstress (EOS), latch-up, and process wear out.  Candidate will work in a collaborative work environment with Design, Product Engineering, Planning, Failure Analysis groups to ensure successful product qualification and launch.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Thorough understanding of Design for Manufacturability/Test/Reliability techniques and be able to lead team for implementation.
  • Generate qualification plans to meet customer, product, regulatory requirements.
  • Manage schedules and activities to ensure product launch timeline is maintained.
  • Lead team through qualification failure RC/CA process.
  • Perform Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Experience with Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS)

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 5+ years’ experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience.
  • Strong background in data-driven decision making.
  • Able to apply requirements to ensure compliance within ISO9001, MIL-STD-38535, MIL-STD883 environment.
  • Understanding of automotive quality requirements (IATF16949) a plus.
  • US Citizen

 

Skills:

  • Must be able to read and understand schematics as it relates to test board design and interface with equipment.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques (8d, etc) for root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods, preferably JMP or other software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
  • Competent in the use of lab tools and testing equipment.
  • Must be self-motivated and work both independently and as a part of a larger team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs within the organization.
