Job Description:


The chosen candidate will work as an individual contributor in the Quality & Reliability organization focused on supporting new product development, qualification and ramp into production.  Preferred candidate will have background including but not limited to circuit/board design and troubleshooting, semiconductor process technology, reliability mechanisms.  Candidate will have understanding of ESD protection, electrical overstress (EOS), latch-up, and process wear out.  Candidate will work in a collaborative work environment with Design, Product Engineering, Planning, Failure Analysis groups to ensure successful product qualification and launch.



-Generate qualification plans to meet customer, product, regulatory requirements.
-Must be able to read and understand schematics as it relates to test board design and equipment interface.
-Manage schedules and activities to ensure product launch timeline is maintained.
-Knowledge of problem solving techniques (8d, etc) for root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.  Lead team through the root cause and corrective action process to resolve problem.
-Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods, preferably JUMP or other software.
-Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
-Competent in the use of lab tools and testing equipment.
-Must be self-motivated and work both independently and as a part of a larger team.
-Willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs within the organization.




Minimum Requirements
-Bachelor's degree BS in relevant engineering field (preferred Electrical Engr, ) with at least 2 years' experience.
-Strong background in data-driven decision making.
-Able to apply requirements to ensure compliance within ISO9001, MIL-STD-38535, MIL-STD883 environment.
-Understanding of automotive quality requirements (IATF16949) a plus.
