Title: Process Reliability Engineer (New College Grad)
The Corporate Process Reliability (CPR) group is looking for a new college graduate in Electrical Engineering with educational experience in analog circuits and semiconductor devices. The job focuses on two aspects of reliability: electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection design/characterization and long-term reliability (wearout) structure design/characterization. Lastly, it will couple these two with failure analysis to understand and evaluate the limitations of circuit elements. This job will involve hands on lab testing as well as electrical design.
Location: Palm Bay, FL
Responsibilities:
- Electrical Characterization
- Transistor (BJT and MOSFET), Diode Characterization
- Electrical aging of circuit elements via bias and temperature
- Programming and automation of lab-based instruments/testers
- TLP and vf-TLP testing of ESD and eSOA (electrical safe operating area)
- HBM/CDM ESD Testing
- Latchup testing
- Electrical Overstress Modeling/characterization
- Test Structure Development
- ESD Design and layout
- Wearout Design and Layout
- Special Studies focusing on new failure mechanisms
Skill Set:
- Bachelors or higher in EE, emphasis in analog circuits and semiconductor devices
- Experience using electronic lab equipment including but not limited to:
- Semiconductor parameter Analyzers (SPA)
- Source measure units (SMU)
- Curve Tracer
- Oscilloscopes
- Pulse Generators
- Power Supplies
- Experience bread-boarding and building experimental circuits
- Software programming experience; instrument control and automation a plus
- SPICE circuit simulation & exposure to IC layout tools; CADENCE Virtuoso a plus
