Renesas is a market leader in Analog Signal Chain products.  We are looking for a passionate, detail oriented Applications Engineer to support our Analog products. 


Your everyday work will have an impact on winning new business for our products - whether by updating the information that customers and distributors use to find and evaluate our products or by doing direct confirmation of specific circuits for specific customers.


You will be part of our Applications Engineering team providing expert support to customers throughout the world who are interested in our Analog products. 


What you will learn:

  • Become a technical expert on our Analog product portfolio so that you can respond to questions from both internal and external sources
  • Semiconductor product development and real world analog design trade-offs
  • An understanding of the exciting, fast paced semiconductor market and how customers select, evaluate, and eventually buy the products that go into the electronics that we use every day.
  • The information that is needed to properly promote and support our products through sales and distribution channels
  • How to work in a fast-paced environment with colleagues from around the world


What you will do:

  • Work with senior Applications Engineers to develop a deep understanding of our products, how they are used, and the key features and limitations when doing circuit designs
  • Coordinate with world-wide colleagues to review customer's circuit designs and suggest improvements or fix issues they are having
  • Become a technical advisor to the product marketing team 
  • As necessary, work in the lab to test circuit designs and product performance  



  • Have a strong interest to utilize technical skills to achieve business goals
  • A self starter: Be able to work with minimum supervision and direction - a person who doesn't wait for someone to tell them what to do, but instead figures it out themselves.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and with good communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Analog products is a plus 



  • Working towards a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
