The location for this position is Palm Bay, FL.



The candidate will participate in the entire product development cycle of radiation hardened analog to digital converters (ADCs). Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Execute system level testing and characterization
  • Execute product evaluation, validation, and characterization (hands-on work in the lab)
  • Write technical documentation (e.g., data-sheet, application notes, and design guidelines)
  • Provide customer support, including on-site support
  • Work closely with local and remote teams (FAE’s, design/test/product/reliability engineering, and marketing) to perform the tasks listed above
  • Plan and execute single event effects (SEE) testing of products
  • Write reports on the results of SEE testing
  • Contribute to the definition of innovative and differentiated radiation hardened ADC products
  • Collaborate with design, product, and test engineering teams in design and implementation of product evaluation boards
  • Training of field applications engineers as well as customer engineers



The candidate should have some industry experience in analog to digital converter applications. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with good communication skills (both written and verbal) and preferably knowledge in the following areas:

  • Understanding of signal processing and Nyquist sampling theory, ADC architectures, anti-alias filter operation and design, Fast Fourier Transforms (FFTs), etc.
  • Familiarity with ADC performance metrics such as SNR, SFDR, THD, Gain, Offset, INL, DNL, etc.
  • Schematic capture, PCB design tools such as Cadence, Orcad, Allegro.
  • Knowledge of proper circuit and PCB design techniques for mixed signal systems
  • Proficient with product characterization equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supplies, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, and function generator.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Python, JAVA, and MATLAB programming experience desired
  • Verilog FPGA programming experience desired
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US. No visa sponsorship will be offered.
