Principal Accountabilities

• Digital Design specification and development 
• Logic and Finite State Machine design in Verilog RTL
• RTL synthesis, DFT insertion, and Static Timing Analysis
• Work in cooperation with the methodology and design support groups

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience with Verilog and/or System Verilog for digital design and verification
• Experience in digital design implementation including logical synthesis and DFT insertion with high coverage
• Experience in ATPG and ATE support
• Experience in static timing analysis and creation of place and route constraints
• Experience in formal verification, lint and CDC checking
• Experience in asynchronous clock crossings and synthesis implications of RTL
• Experience in implementing and verifying ECOs on RTL, synthesized, and post route netlists
• Experience with gate-level simulations with understanding of causes and implications of timing violations
• Experience with various internal/external bus architectures namely ARM-AHB, I2C, SMB, SPI
• Fast learner with ability to work under minimal supervision
• Knowledge of timing and synchronization standards is a strong asset
• Experience with mixed signal circuits is a strong asset

Qualifications

• Electrical or Computer Engineering degree and 12+ years of practical experience. An advanced degree may substitute for some years of related experience.
• Must be eligible and able to work onsite in Ottawa, Canada
