Principal Accountabilities
- Digital Design specification and development
- Logic and Finite State Machine design in Verilog RTL
- RTL synthesis, DFT insertion, and Static Timing Analysis
- Work in cooperation with the methodology and design support groups
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience with Verilog and/or System Verilog for digital design and verification
- Experience in digital design implementation including logical synthesis and DFT insertion with high coverage
- Experience in ATPG and ATE support
- Experience in static timing analysis and creation of place and route constraints
- Experience in formal verification, lint and CDC checking
- Experience in asynchronous clock crossings and synthesis implications of RTL
- Experience in implementing and verifying ECOs on RTL, synthesized, and post route netlists
- Experience with gate-level simulations with understanding of causes and implications of timing violations
- Experience with various internal/external bus architectures namely ARM-AHB, I2C, SMB, SPI
- Fast learner with ability to work under minimal supervision
- Knowledge of timing and synchronization standards is a strong asset
- Experience with mixed signal circuits is a strong asset
Qualifications
- Electrical or Computer Engineering degree and 12+ years of practical experience. An advanced degree may substitute for some years of related experience.
- Must be eligible and able to work onsite in Ottawa, Canada
