To further strengthen the team at our Ottawa location, we are looking for an Senior ASIC Digital Verification Engineer who will work on the development of state of the art mixed-signal PLL (phase-locked loop) integrated circuits. The Senior ASIC Digital Verification Engineer will work on the development of the integrated circuits by doing block-level and chip top-level RTL and gate-level verification.


Basic Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Knowledge of SystemVerilog for digital verification
• Experience with Synopsys and/or Cadence simulation tools
• Experience with UVM, SVA and functional coverage is a strong asset
• Object oriented coding and verification solutions for productivity, performance, and throughput
• Fast learner with ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Prior knowledge of PLLs and timing standards is not required. We are looking for a candidate who is looking to challenge themselves by learning about this type of specialized architectures and applying their expertise on these types of digital verification designs. 
 Preferred Skills & Knowledge:


• Understanding Standard Specifications / functional specifications/ feature enhancements for the product to create and execute detailed verification plans
• Experience with embedded C programming is an asset.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Tcl is an asset.


Education and/or Experience:


• Electrical or Computer Engineering degree and 5 years of practical experience.
