To further strengthen the team at our Ottawa location, we are looking for an ASIC Digital Verification Engineer who will work on the development of state of the art mixed-signal PLL (phase-locked loop) integrated circuits. The ASIC Verification Engineer will work on the development of the integrated circuits by doing block-level and chip top-level RTL and gate-level verification.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Knowledge of SystemVerilog for digital verification
• Experience with Synopsys and/or Cadence simulation tools
• Experience with UVM, SVA and functional coverage is a strong asset
• Object oriented coding and verification solutions for productivity, performance, and throughput
• Fast learner with ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong organization and communication skills
 
 Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Understanding Standard Specifications/functional specifications/ feature enhancements for the product to create and execute detailed verification plans
• Experience with embedded C programming is an asset
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Tcl is an asset

 
Education and/or Experience:

Electrical or Computer Engineering degree and exposure to practical experience in internship
