Senior Application Engineer (f/m/d)

Based out of our Munich office in Germany or our Milan office in Germany.

The RZ MPU Application Engineer, is essential to the development and building of software for Renesas customers as key enabler of business expansion. Working as a bridge between customers and engineering teams, these Application Engineers use customer input and sales information to design or re-design, develop, test, and implement complex software programs and applications. The AE also provides technical support and expertise to customers, testing applications, responding to customer feedback, installations, maintenance and often performing sales presentations and demonstrations. You will discuss requirements with Renesas customers, coordinate internal Renesas Development teams, assign tasks, solve technical issues, and improve existing products.

The RZ MPU Application Engineer is expected to have programming expertise, leadership qualities, technical skills, time management skills, and be customer service orientation.

Your Role:

Linux and RTOS OS programming
Provide support and expertise on RZ MPU products, and how they are used to create customer solutions
Create sample code or Proof of Concept demonstrations
Understanding the needs of the customer (including commercial aspects)
Attending conferences and industry events
Collaborate with Sales & FAEs and design team to ensure requirements are met

Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field.
Experience in development engineering or Application engineering field.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
