Senior Manager/Director EU Strategic Sales Department (f/m/d)

based out of our Munich, Stuttgart or Düsseldorf office in Germany.

 

As Head of our EU Strategic Sales Department within our Automotive Strategic Sales Division your responsibility will include creating sales strategies to penetrate targeted application areas, achieving design in/win targets as well as establishing close relationship with the OEM’s and coordinating marketing & sales activities with them in Europe.

 

Your Role:

  • Business Development
    • Develop and lead OEM design-in goals
    • Develop and execute detailed sales strategies driving balanced-revenue growth for Digital, Analog & Power products
    • Coordinate business growth in close alignment with global Sales organizations and technical marketing departments to ensure agile OEM support
    • Proactively drive business development at Tier 1 customers through your influence on OEM’s
    • Understand & transparently share future HW/SW architectures of each OEM
    • Expand existing MCU footprint for next generation vehicles and maintain market leadership
    • Increase Analog & Power business as part of turnkey solution with digital products
    • Introduce & execute the implementation of sustainable supply chain management concepts
  • Focus Customer Relationship Development
    • Establish contacts at multiple levels of focus customer organization
    • Build relationships between top management personnel
  • Leadership
    • Proactively lead the team delivering high levels of engagement which translates into financial results
    • Willingness to develop yourself and your team in line with Renesas culture: Transparent, Agile, Global, Innovative & Entrepreneurial
  • Reporting
    • Reporting of new business opportunities
    • Provide weekly progress report on key projects & activities
    • Develop, execute and review strategy with the management

 

 

Your Profile:

  • Business Engineering or Business Administration degree and/or equivalent experience in the described area of responsibility
  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, motivation and developing strong sales team
  • Automotive industry experience and good understanding of automotive requirements, experience in OEM handling highly welcome
  • Ability to develop a business strategy with a set of target customers aligned with Renesas’ strengths and potential, plan a course of action and set activities in place to support it
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor automotive segment and their applications is preferred
  • OEM knowledge and essential team skills, strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with customers, internal BU, product line, peers and management for transparent communication
  • Knowledge of the applications within the automotive segment, automotive customers and the OEM market are highly preferred, existing relationships in any of these fields are a bonus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: capable to focus on trends, customer requirements and products
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time
  • Fluent in German and English
  • A sense of humor is required
