Senior MEMS Sensor System Engineer (f/m/d)  

based out of our Munich or Dresden office in Germany


in our R&D team to leverage the team knowledge about MEMS knowledge and sensor module development approach



  • Support R&D and Automotive sensing Product lines with MEMS and module expertise
  • Main Interface to our MEMS suppliers and packaging teams
  • Select MEMS suppliers by leading problem solving activities and DOE activities
  • Support R&D projects thru MEMS device characterization, coordination of prototype builds, product evaluation testing and data analysis
  • Update and develop core sensing element engineering specifications
  • Conduct sensing element experiments and write engineering reports
  • Participate in cross functional pressure sensor application development teams
  • Participate in design activities including: layout, DFMEA, DFM, & executing risk mitigation plans




  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Microelectronics or similar Master or PhD degree in electrical engineering or physics
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in MEMS sensor development (piezoresistive or capacitive , or others)
  • Deep knowledge of MEMS process fabrication and packaging related experience
  • Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal design and integrated circuits
  • Experience in system simulation and analysis with Matlab  + Python programming
  • Experience in various simulation software like COMSOL, Ansys/APDL for MEMS Sensor Simulation
  • Highly organized and able to resolve complex data into concrete actions
  • Demonstrated skills on using Design of Experiments (DOE) and similar statistical methods for MEMS characterization or testing results
  • Experienced  in statistical data analysis
  • Architectural understanding of integrated circuits, experience as designer within a R&D organization represents a plus
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Automotive graded and ISO26262 knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent in English is a key requirement for this role, German is a plus
