Title:  Senior Field Applications Engineer (FAE)

Renesas is looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer for our Industrial and IoT Business Group based out of Poland (Home Office) or Munich.

Technical field support for direct and distribution customers in Eastern Europe (incl. Russia). The applicant will be part of the Mass Market Sales Team EMEA and act as 1st point of contact for all technical aspects to customers, sales, and distribution partners.

Role Responsibilities

· Develop and support existing/new customers and distributors in the territory in close collaboration with sales and business units of Renesas.
· Establish relation to technical decision makers at the customer, present and support the Renesas MCU, MPU and connectivity (BLE, WiFi & Cellular) portfolio.
· Secure Design-Ins through active customer project support including block diagram approach for the major opportunities to maximize Renesas content in each opportunity.
· Training of distribution partners, business development managers and field application engineers.
· Working in an international business environment with regular contacts to US and Asia.
· Travelling within the region for customer and partner support.

Your Profile

· Electronics or Software Engineering degree, experience in the field of technical and project support of MCU, MPU and connectivity devices.
· Ideally market background on semiconductor applications and experience with distribution.
· Ability to support customers in all project phases (platform evaluation, PCB design, application development, software integration of driver/protocol stacks/real-time operating system)
· Detailed knowledge on 16- and 32-bit Microcontroller-/ MPUs required.
· Relevant Engineering background, C, C++ and Object-oriented programming and common communication stacks.
· Good understanding of LINUX environment including development tools. 
· Very Good command of English language.
