Job Summary

 

  • You are the "first point of contact" for the management in all personnel matters within a business unit/group in Europe
  • Understanding business unit specific priorities, challenges, and goals across the EMEA. Coordinating and aligning with Business Unit HRBPs and Centers of Excellence (COE) teams on those priorities and solutions
  • Responsible implementation of sector-specific HR topics in Europe in cooperation with other HR BPs internationally
  • Provide professional advice, guidance & training on all HR matters to management and employees and ensures correct HR policy and program interpretation in all these matters (company agreements, employment law, employee appraisals, employee development, recruitment, etc.)
  • Advice on succession planning as well as employee development within the area
  • Advising employees and executives on general HR issues, such as: Management of annual employee interviews and salary increase rounds for the assigned area
  • Collaboration with HR Corporate HR teams (central functions such as Training, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment and Talent Attraction) and country HR Teams
  • Follow compliance and company regulations when working with sensitive and confidential information
  • If necessary, creation of employee correspondence

 

Your Profile

 

  • Several years of professional experience in a similar HR business partner position preferable within the High-Tech industry or international environment
  • Good knowledge of the German employment law and preferably also employment law of other European countries
  • Excellent planning, organization & communication skills are paramount as well as high attention to detail
  • Solution thinking and able to demonstrate strong initiative and drive, ability to getting things done and to manage multiple projects and partnerships effectively
  • Strong team player and networker who is also comfortable working autonomously
  • Proven ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and to handle confidential information
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Very good German and English skills are mandatory (spoken and written), additional skills in another European language are a plus
