Renesas is looking for a high-profile

Area Sales Manager (Senior) Staff Sales Engineer (f/m/d) 

for our IoT and Infrastructure Group in Germany
based out of our Munich Office in Aschheim/Dornach and/or Home Office

 

The Area Sales Manager will actively support customers in South Germany/Austria and will support a defined set of customers. You will closely cooperate with our distribution partners to realize ambitious growth plans of our product portfolio in Analog, Power and Embedded Processing.

 

 

The Job

  • Responsibility for direct design in and sales activity in the defined region/at defined customers
  • Sales coordination of business activities in the defined region or at defined customers
  • Define strategy and develop channels to support sales growth
  • Build and own the sales forecast
  • Identify, follow up and close major opportunities
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationship with both major customers and channel
    partners in this region
  • Work closely with the Renesas Product Line to become the point of reference for any questions related to our business in this region
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnership with customers in collaboration with product lines
  • Act as interface between the product lines and customers for market trends

 

Your Profile

  • Engineering University Degree - preferably in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with high performance analog IC’s, Power and MCU’s  
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience developing customer relationships in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience in Project Management and working with cross functional international teams
  • Excellent skills in customer interaction and negotiation, result driven, team player
  • Demonstrated successful business decision making skills that influenced positive results
  • Self-directed, analytical, attention to detail & dedication to quality of work is essential
  • Valid and existing residence and work permit for Germany
  • Fluent in German and English
