The Website Information Architect and UX Manager is responsible for working with internal stakeholders to gather functional requirements and defining new features that will satisfy these requirements and enhance the User Experience on Renesas.com. This role will define practical, high-level software development specifications, test new features and functionality against business requirements, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to website and software tools development roadmaps to make the customer experience easier, more usable and more reliable. This role will work closely with a global team of other web technologists and content managers, peers in the Renesas demand creation team, and product line managers to develop a holistic customer experience. This role requires critical thinking and problem solving under limited supervision, knowledge of the B2B customer journey, and the ability to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Works with internal stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements and define new website features and enhancements
  • Manages day-to-day website-related (online) software tools and processes
  • Monitors competitive environment in terms of website functions and online tools
  • Defines practical, high-level software development specifications
  • Tests new features/functionality against business requirements before deployment
  • Contributes to website and software tools development roadmaps
  • Manages vendor relationships

 

Requirements:

  • B.S. in computer science or engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role; software-related role preferred
  • Experience in project management
  • Understanding of UI/UX best practices
  • Understanding of website architecture, and high-level server and networking functions
  • High-energy individual, with a self-starter/leadership attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Focus on productivity and responsiveness

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience in a UI/UX role
  • Experience with the agile development methodology
  • MBA a plus
