As the Web DevOps & Infrastructure Engineering Lead you’ll be tasked with the development and management of the tools and automation used for local development, testing, continuous integration, deployment, and production applications that run This includes maintaining the cloud hosting infrastructure platform (Acquia) and CDN (Akamai) to maximize performance and address issues. is a large, complex website running on the Drupal 9 platform. 




  • Lead and implement a DevOps strategy and architecture to support the needs of the website development team. 

  • Enable the automation of configuration management of all development, quality assurance, and production servers as well as the automation of continuous integration and continuous delivery. 

  • Collaborate daily with our development team to ensure that systems are running smoothly, including helping to troubleshoot Docker-based local development environments. 

  • Update configuration management tools, code, and modules to streamline implementation and supportability. 

  • Implement and manage monitoring solutions that identify both system bottlenecks and production issues. 

  • Responsible to ensure that our cloud hosting platform is maintained and meeting our business operations and performance needs with 99.999% uptime. 

  • Responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud CDN to maximize performance and security. 

  • Maintain a solid understanding of website development best practices. 

  • Maintain proficiency in the application and use of systems, tools, and processes. 




  • B.S. in Computer Science or other Engineering disciplines 

  • 4+ years of DevOps experience for Drupal-based websites 

  • Experience with Apache, Varnish, and NGINX 

  • Experience with CI platforms 

  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDB, Lambda) 

  • Experience with docker, docksal, Perl, bash scripting 

  • Expertise with git 

  • High-energy individual, with a self-starter/leadership attitude 

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a continued desire to learn 

  • Focus on productivity and responsiveness
