Renesas Electronics America is seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to join our SW Product Development team.

 

Job Title: Staff FW Engineer, 3rd Party Partner Firmware Engineering

Locations: Milpitas, CA or Duluth, GA

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide lead FW engineering skills and experience to our 3rd Party Partner firmware development teams
  • Lead the development of 32-bit Arm MCU firmware for our 3rd party partner projects 
  • Train, advise, review, problem-solve, and collaborate with 3rd party development partners
  • Work with Renesas engineering and marketing team members on product definition, development, test, QA, deployment, maintenance & support

 

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in CS, CE or EE 
  • 8+ years in embedded
  • Experience as a lead embedded developer
  • Experience working with 3rd party developers and offshore teams
  • Expert in embedded C
  • Hands-on experience with software engineering processes and tools
  • RTOS and related stacks / middleware
  • Excellent communication skills
  • FW development for Consumer, Industrial, Medical products
