Renesas is seeking a Product Marketing Manager in its Industrial Power Products Group, which provides all power products to serve the wide industrial space, this position will be located in the Renesas Electronics America (REA) Milpitas, CA headquarter.

Industrial Power is one of the fastest growing product lines within Renesas with huge potential, to power the new winning combinations of Renesas, former acquired Intersil and the late acquired IDT to fast develop solutions in our target applications. To fulfill our quick growing product portfolio and product management needs, we are looking for a new (Senior) Product Marketing Manager to join the team.

The Manager’s responsibilities include promoting existing and new products to the market; data analytics and pricing strategy for new and existing products; help preparing business plans on new product proposals; working closely with sales/FAE on customer-facing sales and support activities; working closely with partners within and outside Renesas for all types of collaboration; assist with marcom activities in tradeshows at distributor events. Travel up to 10% for domestic and international customer visits may be expected (after COVID).

The successful candidate must be very detail oriented, self-motivated with minimal guidance, and have sense of initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work well across various functional organizations such as Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, Product Engineering, and Sales/FAE.

Duties And Responsibilities

Provide timely response to inquiries from customers and field teams regarding products, pricing, and other information;
Work with the sales and business planning teams to drive to financial targets for the product line;
Work with the product line managers to prepare new product proposals;
Develop product promotion presentations and other sales collaterals;
Develop material for new product Go-To Market activities (including marketing campaigns);
Manage and develop relationships with partners and complementary product vendors, to make sure that our products are well positioned in the ecosystem;
Drive new product development activities, identifying critical issues and working with Applications Engineering, Design Engineering and Product Engineering to solve them;
Develop and deliver training to the sales and FAE teams;
Present Renesas solutions at industry conferences, trade-show, create journal articles, whitepapers, etc.

Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in the field of power management IC in-house applications, field applications, product marketing, sales or FAE;
Strongly Self-driven and self-motivated and capable of taking full ownership of his/her activities, and to involve other functions in the company or management when needed to bring them to a successful outcome;
Comfortable for multi-tasking;
Fast learner on new technology / new applications / new products;
Comfortable in presenting to audiences of different background;
Capable to communicate in a concise and effective way;


Minimum Education and experience:
BS degree in Engineering; MBA, MS or PhD a plus;
Requires 3-5 years of professional experience as an application engineer, field applications engineer, sales, or product/technical marketing engineer/manager in the power management IC industry
