Renesas is expanding its high-end RZ microprocessor (MPU) family and solutions based on multi-core arm® Cortex®-A class CPUs for high-resolution human machine interface (HMI), embedded vision, embedded artificial intelligence, and high-speed connectivity. Renesas has the leading global market share for embedded controllers used in applications such as industrial automation, home automation, and public/commercial infrastructure – and we’re leveraging that position to rapidly expand the use of RZ MPUs in those endpoints.

We need a skilled Product Marketing Director for the RZ MPU family to gain broad knowledge of market requirements and competitive landscape, lead new product definition and overall roadmap, develop messaging and manage go-to-market activities, and collaborate with marketing, engineering, partners, and sales team members to rapidly grow the business, globally.



  • Global Lead of MPU Product and Solution Promotion
    • Drive global biz dev team to achieve financial targets
      • Define and manage global go-to-market and go-to-customer execution
      • Feedback result to stakeholders, refine and define next steps
      • Drive market penetration, design-win success, and revenue growth
    • Identify potential new customers, market and complete appropriate research on their business and needs
    • Increase awareness of Renesas MPU product
    • Identify trendsetter ideas and use cases by researching subject matter, industry and related events, publications, and announcements
    • Become a subject matter expert on e-AI products and solutions, and remain up-to-date on related technology, industry news, and competitor landscape
    • Work jointly with global marketing/sales/engineering to solve customer problems and win business
    • Thorough and timely activity reporting, and business data generation for budget and forecast


  • Product Enablement and Definition
    • Develop product strategy and business plan for Renesas embedded MPU (RZ/G, A,…)
    • Define RZ MPU product and solution roadmap
    • Direct the messaging and the creation of content used in marketing collateral and website
    • Develop product messaging including value proposition, key differentiators, and competitive advantage of the new products
    • Communicate the value of new products to sales and field engineering teams. Develop sales enablement tools that accelerate selling RZ products and solutions
    • Communicate effectively with management, provide regular reports capturing major customer opportunities, track resolution of issues impacting products and revenue
    • Act as the primary thought leader for the products, including speaking engagements and written works
    • Direct the preparation and training of sales and field engineering teams
    • Manage in execution of regional exhibitions and partner events
    • Provide input for definition of new products, validate definition with customer base


  • Partner Enablement
    • Identify and engage technical partners who will enhance the ability to win e-AI business
    • Manage partner relationships and enable them to operate in Renesas’s business framework
    • Ensure partners are trained and enabled on all e-AI solutions



  • Proven track record in Product Line Management and revenue growth
  • Strong technical understanding of embedded microprocessor systems in IoT and infrastructure market
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders. Comfort with presenting to a wide range of audiences from individual contributor level, and up to the executive level
  • Closing Skills, motivation for sales team, prospecting skills, sales planning, selling to customer needs, market knowledge, presentation skills, meeting sales goals, professionalism

  • BSEE/CS or equivalent is required. MBA a plus.
  • Minimum of 12 years of Product Line Management and technical product marketing experience with at least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role. A plus includes embedded systems experience (microprocessors, microcontrollers, RTOS, Linux)
