  • Lead and manage the Systems Engineering team of 8 to 10 engineers
  • Manage 3rd party vendors and contractors situated locally and internationally
  • Lead design, development, and debugging of applications and solutions for 32-bit and ARM MCUs
  • Drive the definition, design, and manufacturing of development and promotion kits
  • Mentor and guide the Systems development team technically to produce best in class customer facing collateral
  • Assign tasks, track progress through bottom’s up resource loading, generate reports regularly and do performance reviews of direct reports
  • Work with various internal and external stake holders in defining and implementing collateral related to the product being released.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other engineering development teams to continually improve the product quality
  • Enhance and support software engineering and development processes utilized in Systems Engineering team to continuously improve quality and efficiency
  • Develop customer facing solutions based on SW platform; demonstrations, example programs, reference designs, etc.



  • BSCS, BSCE, or BSEE; MSCS, MSCE, or MSEE preferred
  • 8-10+ years of experience with at least 8 years in the embedded area and 2+ years as a lead or manager preferred
  • Being able to work in fast paced environment with changing priorities and being able to prioritize and deliver on commitments is a must
  • Expert in embedded C and with some assembly language experience
  • Experience with software engineering processes and tools
  • Experience with leading firmware/software/SW tools development team
  • Experience to define, design, and manufacturing Kits as a product
  • Experience with project management and best practices
  • Successful design of Embedded System products and taking it to production
  • Experience using RTOS’ and related stacks and middleware
  • Experience in porting 3rd party or open source middleware
  • Experience in developing BSPs for embedded systems using MCUs and MPUs
  • Hands-on system bring-up, testing, and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with power managements, memory management, security, and industry safety
  • Experience with communication protocols; USB, CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet-PHY, TCP/IP, BLE, Wi-Fi, GSM, LTE, NB-IoT etc.
  • Experience with Scrum Agile development processes a plus
  • Object-oriented language expertise; C++, Java, LUA, UML, etc.
  • Continuous Development and Continuous Integration
  • Knowledge of XMLs, Python or any scripting language a plus
  • Familiar with tools like Eclipse, Git, JIRA, etc.
  • Experience working with remote, global teams
  • Wireless communication protocol experience (BLE, Wi-Fi, GSM, LTE, NB-IoT) is a strong plus
  • FW Development for Consumer, Industrial or Medical products
  • Experience developing in Open Source community
  • Hardware design experience a plus
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Some travel required
