Renesas is seeking a highly motivated professional with exceptional analytical skills to join us as a Sr Finance Controller. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, experienced, and highly analytical individual. This individual will partner with a business unit and analyze and report financial and operational results, monitor performance, and assist with the financial planning and forecasting processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Active involvement in division’s forecasting and budgeting, including headcount and capital planning
  • Provide business partnership support to division head, and create Product Line P&Ls
  • Develop detailed financial forecasts incorporating historic, trended and current business information
  • Review and provide business support on new product development financials
  • Participate in monthly close activities including journal entries for the business unit
  • Prepare and present management reports to Division head with variance analysis compared to budget/forecast, and other trends
  • Work closely with other Controllers and Corporate Finance in reviewing reserves for inventory, receivables, and determining adequacy of overall liabilities
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and provide financial guidance to business to drive high performance
     

Qualifications:

  • MBA/ CPA with at least 8 years of FP&A related experience
  • Superior knowledge of excel with advanced knowledge of pivot tables, lookups, and logical functions a must
  • Experience with ERP/Planning Systems (SAP/TM1 experience a plus)
  • Ability to think creatively and quickly with minimal direction and information
  • Strong business and analytical skills; ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a continually evolving environment
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills, experience and desire to work cross-functionally and be a contributing team member
  • Potential to supervise/manage a financial analyst
  • Occasional travel to Palm Bay, FL
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry required
