What we need:
We are looking for a self-starter with demonstrated financial acumen to be fully successful in this role. You should have strong written and oral communication skills to work with all levels within REA and suppliers. You are a capable negotiator who has a sense of urgency and project management abilities. You are team oriented and have integrity in all aspects of your work.

What You’ll do

  • Work with internal customers to issue RFQ’s to Foundry, EDA, IT suppliers, completing the bid analysis of the tenders received, preparing and making proposals on the successful supplier from the RFQ
  • Engage with suppliers to create a collaborative environment 
  • Work internally to understand monthly and annual forecasts 
  • Manage delivery performance of purchased items and escalates issues as needed
  • Develop improvement activities that drive efficiency and system/process improvement
  • Review market trends and develop new supply sources to ensure REA is paying the competitive market pricing for those commodities under your control
  • May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing
  • Manage the performance of suppliers under your control
  • Keep management informed on market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability for the equipment, goods and services 
  • Review technical requirements with internal customers(Product Line) and compare with Foundry partners process availability
  • Work with Process Development and P/L to complete recommendations for process selection


Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering preferred
  • 4+ Years’ experience required
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy  
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and ability to develop impactful PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience with supplier management and or collaborating with remote engineering teams
  • Must have highly developed written and verbal cross-functional communication skills
