Renesas Americas is seeking a Sr Sales Account Manager to join an existing strategic account team - Amazon/AWS. Located in the San Jose Bay Area, the Account Manager will focus on promoting the entire Renesas portfolio into consumer application space within a specific Tier-1 strategic account to leverage our existing partnership to expand our engagement. We are executing a “go broad and deep strategy” in which we will sell broadly across the customer application space and deeply by penetrating each board design with maximum portfolio engagement.  The successful candidate must have experience in a technical sales environment, strong self-motivation and sense of initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work well across various functional organizations.



  • Identify and win new designs, cross-sell the entire Renesas portfolio.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support including product selection, product information, roadmaps, samples, pricing, and any support issues.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal Renesas resources including Sales, FAE, Product Line, and Operations personnel to close designs and successfully help customer launch products to market.
  • Identify customer intelligence including product requirements, decision criteria, roadblocks, timeline, budget, TAM, and competition.
  • Conduct face to face customer meetings to provide support, address issues, communicate updates and build strong relationships.
  • Be highly accountable to individual and team commitments.
  • Strong problem solving capability to interface customer needs & resources with energetic and proactive approaches
  • Duties include achievement of revenue and Design-in Goals, regular cadence forecasting, and opportunity funnel management.



  • BS Degree is required, BSEE or BSCS or equivalent is preferred
  • 5+ years semiconductor sales experience in sales with demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, influential relationships in a technical sales environment.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
  • Ability to effectively balance strong technical skills with solid relationship-building and account management capabilities.
