Job Overview:

This position will oversee a global team comprised of sales training and customer support. The ideal candidate will be driven and work independently managing a team based mainly in the US and Japan. This position reports into the Director of Sales & Customer Enablement and is located in the Bay Area (Milpitas).

 

The role is twofold. One part is managing a team who enables Sales: developing effective Sales training programs that provide maximum impact and measurable results. The second part is managing an online customer support team: ensuring the first line of online support is efficient, knowledge is captured and available/shared for all customers, tickets are converted to leads as defined, and results are measurable.

 

This position will help define the sales enablement strategy and work with the team to identify efficiencies and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience working with and managing global teams, working with product lines to develop sales training content, and working with cross-functional teams to align the sales enablement strategy to the rest of the Marketing Communication and Demand Creation team.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work closely with the Director to define the strategy and implement process improvements Work cross-functionally with other members of the Marketing Communication and Demand Creation department to align on strategies and execute on deliverables
  • Manage Sales Enablement tools and processes for third-party tools Brainshark, Renesas Academy, Seismic (training tool), and Teamsupport (customer inquiries/tickets)
  • Develop and track appropriate KPIs for both Training and Support, ensure teams are aligned and tracking results
  • Improve and track training completion rates, identify ways to optimize.
  • Increase Renesas Academy customer registrations.
  • Increase customer satisfaction rates for team support enquiries
  • Improve and optimize Knowledge base FAQ content
  • Optimize Renesas forum & web community to increase customer participation
  • Manage budget for the current financial year and in planning requirements for the following year.
  • Travel to Japan as necessary and defined by manager.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing global teams
  • 10+ years of experience managing sales enablement programs
  • Excellent project management skills, highly organized, results oriented and driven
  • Excellent people skills, including people management, working with cross-functional teams, working with product lines/business units
  • Is a doer and driver, rolls up sleeves and dives in to get things done
  • Drives and enables a team culture
  • Ability to manage external vendor relationships with key training and support vendors
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in B2B industry, semiconductors a plus
  • Budget planning, organizational skills to prioritize & manage workload to keep deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and independently
  • Knowledge of training tools and software, web and digital marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
