Distribution Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

based out of our Munich Office in Aschheim/Dornach
 

The Distribution Manager will be responsible for the revenue and the relationship with dedicated Distribution partners in Europe. Builds and maintains effective relationships with defined Distributors to ensure high level of attention and return on investment in order to support channel revenue growing faster than market.

 

The Job

 

  • Responsibility includes promoting Renesas portfolio to position Renesas for long-term growth, manage distribution programs from concept to completion, and develop a go to market strategy for proper market, distributor and customer alignment.
  • Lead a team of 3 Corporate Account Managers responsible for a mix of global broadline distributors as well as a few focused regional distributors.
  • Develop and enhance growth strategy and strategic account plans for EMEA Distribution network, including measurable KPIs and escalation management towards sales and business unit (BU) management of Renesas.
  • Deliver results against key demand creation & sales performance metrics in the channel for our expanding MCU and Analog & Power product portfolio.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve business goals of EMEA distribution. Identify gaps to goals and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Build strategic, executive level distributor relationships, demonstrate Renesas´ capabilities and technologies to distributors and customer base, capture distributor insights and translate that information into account and regional strategies to grow Renesas market share.
  • Clear alignment and communication with key internal stakeholders (sales leadership, business units/product lines, pricing, operations, customer service).
  • Provide distributor insight to BU & channel marketing teams to support product & application promotions at Distributors.
  • Lead sales efforts for promotion of NPI products and technologies to target customer segments in the channel.
  • Monthly revenue forecasting of distributor revenue in alignment with distribution partners to support corporate revenue forecasting process.
  • Responsible for the EMEA channel marketing budget and related activities across EMEA in alignment with the regional sales team; monitoring of expenses and results        .
  • Member of the EMEA management team with high visibility towards Sales & BU Management.

 

Your Profile

  • University Degree - preferably in Business, or Business & Engineering or Engineering
  • Several years job experience in similar or equivalent position with management and leadership experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Good knowledge of the Distribution Market is a must
  • Experience with high performance analog IC’s, Power and MCU’s 
  • Experience in Project Management and working with cross functional international teams
  • Excellent skills in customer interaction and negotiation, result driven, team player
  • Demonstrated successful business decision making skills that influenced positive results
  • Self-directed, analytical, attention to detail & dedication to quality of work is essential
  • Valid and existing residence and work permit for Germany
  • Fluent in German and English
