Renesas is looking for an HR expert  who can drive change and provide strategic and broad support to our business growth. The HRBP for corporate divisions will provide HR services for the career advancement of talent in a fast-paced, high-tech work environment. Our culture requires a collaborative and flexible individual who is proactive in communications and able to develop effective working relationships at all levels within the company. Client groups will be located across multiple sites and countries. This position will report to the Manager in Japan.


Role and Respoisibility

  • Understands strategy and initiatives of corporate divisions (divisions in  corparate function) as well as company and identigy challenges that those divisions are facing.  Consults and collaborate with the leadership team to influence and facilitate the development of their organizational priorities and related change initiatives. Drive key initiatives, including leadership development, talent management and succession planning, and workforce planning.

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders (primarily in Japan and US) and key stakeholders,and collaborate with colleagues inside and outside HR to enhance, align and drive the effectiveness of HR processes and programs.

  • Understand trends and recommend solutions proactively to improve performance, retention, and employee experience. 



  • Minimum 3+ years general HR experience, and min 5+ year working experience
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills and the demonstrated, with the ability to solve complex employee relations issues quickly, creatively, and with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and influence positive behaviors throughout the organization and work collaboratively with other HR teams.

  • English:Able to communicate in English (TOEIC score around 700)
