[Background of Recruitment]

As the EV shift progresses rapidly, there is an increasing need for higher functionality, higher performance, and cost reduction of electric powertrain

 systems (inverters, battery management systems, DC / DC converters, On-Board Charger, etc.) for electric vehicles.

We are seeking a person who can quickly catch the future trends of these applications, define system level requirements, define next-generation

semiconductor products roadmap and product planning from those requirements.

 

[Responsibilities]

Renesas's Automotive Analog marketing division is seeking a systems architect to lead the innovation of key analog devices such as scalable gate driver

ICs for IGBT/SiC/MOSFET,in electrified powertrain for electric vehicles(EV).

Possessing advanced and practical knowledge of electrified powertrain system (motor/inverter control, DCDC converter, On- board charger), you will

work across Renesas technical team and with customers to develop concepts and plan new products.

Key responsibles will include;

- Investgating, analyzing and simulating advanced and innovative electrified powertrain system concepts and architectures to define system level requirements

- Define IC level requirement of the analog IC for EV such as the gate drivers for IGBT/SiC/MOSFET from the system requirement

- Develop key specifications for all function blocks of analog ICs for EV (e.g. gate drivers: insulation, driver, flyback converter, analog and digital

- Define a product / technology roadmap

- Plan new products based on the product roadmap

- Perform Proof of Concept validation demonstrating system design (collaboration with the board development team)

- Provide technical training to customers, sales and field team

- Author articles for application notes and white papers

 

[Required Skills and Work Experience]

 - Over 5 years of experience as semiconductor product marketing

 - Motor / inverter control technology

 - Electrical/Electronic circuit (Digital / Analog),  IC / Semiconductor knowledge

 - Excellent communication skills and presentation skills

 - Experience of collaboration with customers and partners

 - Team spirit and leadership in a global organization

 - Problem finding / solving ability
