Background of Recruitment:

Recently, products connected by networks such as IoT, connected cars, and ADAS have become popular, and the hacking threat  is increasing. Renesas is strengthening the organiation for product in point of security.  Therefore, it is becoming more important to implement security measures for semiconductor products, and a cryptographic IP that is the root of trust is essential. Furthermore, it is required to develop next-generation cryptographic IP that cannot be solved even by quantum computers, which are expected to become popular in the future. Renesas is looking for designers to promote the development of cryptographic IP used in products that used for more than 10 years. In addition, security knowledge will be educated in Renesas, so there is no problem even if you dont' have securiy knowledge at this time. 

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and verify hardware cryptographics IP to protect confidential information based on market demands for automotive & IoT semiconductor products.
1. Definition of security IP target specifications
2. Security IP specification creation, RTL design, verification policy formulation, verification implementation

Required Skills and Work Experience:

MUST

・ Experience of RTL design / verification by Verilog-HDL
・ Basic knowledge about logic design such as circuit simulation and formal verification
・ Negotiation experience and communication skills with team members and internal /external stakeholders

WANT

・Basic security knowledge
 

Required Language Skills:

English:daily conversation level (TOEIC score around 600)

Japanese:business level
