Background of Recruitment:

In the Industrial Automation market, automation for assembly and food production is advancing in the Industry 4.0 trend, and various requirements such as Industrial Ethernet, OPC-UA, security and functional safety are emerging. Hereby the mid-/low-end market is expected to grow significantly. The IABD plans to expand product lineup of scalable ASSPs in line with the market expansion. On the other hand, major Industrial Automation customers often use ASIC to realize custom functions. As functions become more complex, developing ASIC based on ASSP requirements is effective in terms of development time and cost. We are looking for personnel to understand the system, performance requirements, and functional specifications of the device including software, which are currently lacking, and to incorporate them into specific hardware, and to promote development.

 

Responsibilities:

In order to expand Industiral Automation business, to push forward with new product planning, device target specification and development launch based on system specifiacation and required performance

- Product planning and business feasibility study
- Project management of product development
- To set the device target specification in details to achieve the required cost and specification
- To select IP cores to realize functions, and coordinate with IP core developers/vendors
- To prepare documentation from user's point of view, and support customer product development

 

Required Skills and Work Experience:

MUST

- Experience in ASSP/ASIC device development at least 5 years
- Communication skills with customers, internal and external stakeholders
- General knowledge of semiconductor process node trands
- General knowledge of CPU architecture and programing for ARM cores and so on
- Knowlege of IP standard used in SoC and MCU

WANT

- Experience in device development as a project manager
- Experience in evaluation of actual devices
- Experience in firmware/driver software development for MPU/MCU

- English skill level:business level  (TOEIC score around 600)
