What are we looking for?


We are looking for a knowledgeable, motivated individual to join our team as a cellular platform certification and applications development engineer. Primary daily activities will include execution support of Radio certification of chipset and modules based on network carrier and customer application requirements and use cases. The successful candidate is expected to have a sound working knowledge of cellular network architecture technologies, protocols, interfaces, and respective data services. Experience in cellular test, certification, qualification, and evaluation processes, and understanding on regional coverage of 3G, 4G, and 5G networks to apply to market demands.


Technical Focus Areas

  • 3GPP –LTE, NB-IOT 4G, and 5G architecture; LTE to 5G interworking and call flows
  • 5G NSA and SA implementations
  • 3GPP RAN, C-RAN, and O-RAN configurations
  • Experience with 2,3,4,5G and 802.11 performance testing and RF certification conformance


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the chipset and module qualification and certification, supporting regional market deployment
  • Support and manage conformance testing with outside certification body and labs
  • In-depth knowledge on mobile networks, especially on 3GPP LTE 4G and 5G standards in RAN and the interface between radio network and core network (AMF, LMF). Additional knowledge on core network standards is a plus.
  • Perform technical evaluations of customer application boards and Integration of the modem chipset and module
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define the requirements and to drive the timely and quality release of new products and features



  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in cellular technology focus or equivalent work experience in cellular network configuration and analysis, or other fields related to this position from an accredited university/college
  • Direct experience with LTE CAT-M1, NB-IOT, 4G, 5G, functional elements and technologies
  • A foundational understanding of 3GPP cellular network architectures
  • Working knowledge of network protocols such as: IPv4, IPv6
  • Good knowledge and experience with embedded systems, firmware and porting/building applications
  • Exposure to various RTOS like FreeRTOS, Embed, SXOS, Zephyr and Linux development environment.
  • Good to have fundamental knowledge in Digital Signal Processing concepts
