Title:  Data Quality Analyst

Job Summary:

• Looking for Data Quality analyst who has a overall understanding of the Data warehouse and BI system.
• The Analyst will work in the Global Sales- Centralized Analytics and Reporting Ops team to provide on-going support of our business intelligence tools and applications.
• The Analyst will be focused on the validating the Dashboards and reports developed by the developers.
• The Analyst should have a clear understanding of the process flows and must be able to convert the business requirements to validation documents.
• The Analyst should be able to perform queries in the database for validation. Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
• The analyst should be able to check the source systems to validate the data in the data warehouse.
• The analyst should be able to monitor the data flows daily and proactively resolve the failures in the jobs.
• Must have knowledge of ETL skills and transfer of data between multiple systems.
• Must have excellent excel skills to validate the PBI reports and dashboards.
• Must monitor the scheduling and refresh of PBI reports.
• Must be able to independently handle ad hoc user data requests and handle production issues in the reporting environment.
• knowledge of PBI and DAX language or any scripting knowledge preferred.
• The candidate will focus on designing effective test plans that are scalable, repeatable, meeting the needs of the business users.
• This role will align with cross-functional groups such as IT, Regional Distribution Team, Regional Sales Ops, Business Units, and Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge in Power BI development
• Develop in SQL and ability to understand procedures in Oracle and SSIS in SQL Server
• Proficient in advanced Excel features
• Ability to debug Power BI dashboards and reports
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
• Must be willing to work independently and be an excellent team player.
• Must be willing to support systems after regular work hours.
