Job Summary

  • Demonstrate technical leadership and provide support to Project Groups guiding Digital / Mixed-Signal Verification during the development of new projects and actively participating in post-project reviews
  • Align with Project Groups & Sites, with a focus on; Mixed Signal Verification Planning and Execution, Flow Adoption, and Simulation Performance.
  • Evaluate and drive adoption of new technologies, tools and tool flows, coordinating this work across multiple stakeholders

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Build strong relationships with the Design Groups, providing them with an outstanding service and supporting lessons learned initiatives to identify continuous improvements in delivering high-quality verification solutions.
  • Challenge existing processes and continuously seek ways to improve in order to yield greater efficiencies for the business.
  • Take on the role of ‘Consultant’ to the Design Teams, making authoritative technical recommendations in order to provide solutions which have a significant impact on productivity and quality.
  • Promote consolidation and alignment seeking to unify the verification environments and practices across the Verification Teams.
  • Unlock maximum value from the existing toolset through identification/promotion of underused functionality and subsequent optimisation of Verification flows.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and EDA Vendors to identify and realise opportunities to improve integration of solutions across the verification and design space.
  • Share technical knowledge by means of developing & delivering training to the design teams, participating in internal conferences and organizing lunch & learns.

 

Your Profile

  • Typically, 5-7 years’ industry experience.
  • Recent hands-on experience in digital and/or mixed-signal verification, preferably including Formal and UVM.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting (Perl, Tcl, etc). Experience in object-orientated programming (Python, Java) would an advantage.

  • Prioritize work, set goals and meet deadlines.

  • Qualifications: (Formal qualifications typically necessary to do the job)
  • Degree level qualification in Software Development, Electronics / Microelectronics Engineering, or a related discipline
