Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical interface between analog design teams and end customer for the development of automotive mixed-signal products
  • Develop documentation to support the proper use of assigned products, including datasheets, application notes, and other technical documentation.
  • Demonstrate and evaluate application-level performance for assigned products through written test plans, bench testing, evaluation reports, and customer presentations
  • Assist design team in the evaluation of solutions to potential roadblocks including application workarounds, circuit design changes and/or requirement changes
  • Provide technical customer support for analog and mixed-signal tools and products
  • Develop requirements for evaluation boards, EMC test boards, and related software
  • Support development of new business by providing technical proposals and design tradeoffs in response to customer inquiries for mixed-signal automotive products
  • Review and assist with the definition of new mixed-signal process technology requirements

 

Education:

  • BSEE or equivalent required, MSEE strongly preferred
  • Analog hardware design with preference to dc/dc converters, linear regulators, configurable and diagnosable MOSFET drivers, A/D converters; supplemental working knowledge of digital design techniques desirable

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in analog, power and mixed-signal design; analog IC design, strongly preferred
  • Automotive analog and power applications experience required, EMC testing familiarity preferred
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor device process technology required

 

Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Circuit design and simulation using Cadence toolset required
  • Application modeling including Spice, Matlab and Simulink, required
  • Working knowledge of Verilog A, VHDL AMS and Saber desired

 

Other:

  • Flexibility for limited travel, both domestic and international, required
