Cybersecurity Architect for Embedded system

- Responsible for cybersecurity conceptual architecture MCU/SoC and overall system.   This includes optimizing MCU/SoC security architecture to meet customer and market need while insure cost are kept in-line to meet competive landscape. 
-Participate in cybersecurity thought leadership by proactive engagment the industry organizations such as AutoISAC, SAE, etc.
-Participation in Renesas cybersecurity technology roadmap creation including proposing novel security mechanism and engaging w/ 3rd parties to bring in new technologies. 
- To pro-activity survey the automotive landscape for future cybersecurity trends and novel technologies which will enable Renesas to maintain a competitive position. 

Technical marketing and customer support for automotive security technologies for Automotive Products
- Provide technical support to customers specifically on Renesas device security mechanisms, usage and troubleshooting.
- Review/understand cybersecurity specifications and evaluate in the context of customer applications. 
- Participate in customer workshop explaining Renesas MCU/ SoC architecture for RFQ/RFI response.  
- Technology roadmap creation




Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Master preferred)
Specific experience or training in cybersecurity for Automotive or mobile applications
5+ years in development of embedded system using MCU and SoC for Automotive or mobile applications
5+ Experience in MCU/SoC product development (including system) relating to defining cybersecurity architectures  
5+ Experience setting up and debugging MCU/SoC product; especially experience with ARM A series cores and ARM TEE.  
Good Communication skills with customer, colleague and others
Experience building relationship with customers and engagment with customer on a technical level
Experience defining Root of Trust concepts for MCU/SoC and embedded sytems for Automotive applications. 
Development and/or support experience of software such as Linux or ARM TEE
Experienced in security protocols and cryptographic methods



Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Master preferred)
