The Program Management group develops project strategy based on review of relevant technical and business factors. The PM team is responsible for working with design, test, product, and application engineering functions to manage project development plans against various key performance indicators. The program manager intern will be responsible for developing applications and templates to drive project requirements and to help automate these tasks in an efficient and accurate manner.


Key responsibilities for the program manager intern

  1. Understand the semiconductor IC development process from product concept through to mass production
  2. Ability to translate project requirements into standardized processes and develop business applications and templates using Excel, VBA, Python
  3. Create standardized business solutions for collaboration among team members using Sharepoint and other online tools
  4. Manage various projects consisting of personnel from remote sites across the US and globally
  5. Organize, set and document project milestones as well as tracking to completion
  6. Analyze historical project data using Excel or other analytics software tools to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and predict program success
  7. Engage and coordinate meetings with key stake holders to track progress against KPIs
  8. Consolidate detailed documentations to support completion of projects, including training materials, resolutions and active open items



  1. Studying for Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Comp Sci. 
  2. 0-1 Years in semiconductor development particularly with experience in product and test engineering
  3. Ability to engage with large, dispersed teams on a technical basis 
  4. Have experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (VBA)
  5. Programming in Python or Excel Macros (VBA) or other data analysis tools
  6. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, business owners, and senior business leaders
  7. Able to understand complex projects and able to communicate and summarize issues and solutions to various levels of people within the organization


Helpful, But Not Required

  • Experience with Agile SCRUM
