The role will be working hybrid (a blend of onsite and remote.)


Job Description:

Responsibilities include: 
• System and block level design & simulation of analog and mixed-signal circuits for the Renesas SSD PMIC product-line
• Assist in product definition and architectural development
• Be able to make engineering decisions based on trade-offs in architecture and circuit design
• Be willing to supervise layout engineers and review layout
• Perform post-layout verification including extraction as well as Monte Carlo analysis
• Prototype evaluation
• Support Test Engineering, Application Engineering, and Marketing groups



• Good working knowledge of BCD and/or CMOS technology.
• Product knowledge in the following areas is highly desirable:
    • Feedback control systems and compensation techniques
    • Bandgap reference design and biasing techniques
    • Integrated pulse width modulated (PWM) or hysteretic power controllers, including buck, boost, inverting or non-inverting buck-boost topologies
    • High performance LDOs
    • Regulated or unregulated charge pump circuits
• Familiarity with Cadence design tools
• 7+ years of experience analog/mix-signal/power management IC design
• Ability to work as part of a team and with low levels of supervision
• Good communication skills


BS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, MS preferred
