This is an opportunity to join the fast-paced MCU (Microcontroller Unit) Ecosystem Team, tasked with scouting for key technologies and developing strategic partnerships around AIoT to enable both organic & inorganic growth. Being the global leader in MCUs it is critical that the ecosystem complements and expands the depth and breadth of the Renesas portfolio.  


The AIoT team is seeking a Senior Staff Marketing Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and has both strong business and technical acumen.


Role Responsibilities


  • Manage all aspects of engagement with strategic partners including but not limited to managing and coordinating executive relationships, working across a broad range of teams to define and execute joint solutions, coordinate roll-out activities and manage media relations.
  • Develop & strengthen relationships at all levels including R&D and product teams to executive management
  • Develop joint product & solutions strategy by working across several internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Define technical requirements for joint solutions to support business plans by working closely with other regional experts
  • Direct Application Engineering and other internal and external technical teams to produce reference solutions
  • Develop technical marketing presentations, videos, whitepapers and other sales collateral
  • Collaborate with Marcom team to define and execute holistic digital campaigns and manage key announcements and media relations
  • Drive representation of co-developed solutions and joint activities at industry conferences and partner events
  • Facilitate key customer engagements jointly with partner through technology workshops and roadshows  
  • Negotiate and facilitate business issues/terms including contracts, and other legal documents
  • Scout for and onboard new technology players in the larger ecosystem to expand and complement relationship with strategic partners
  • Work closely with channel partners to facilitate joint events and solutions
  • Facilitate training for internal and external stakeholders on key partner technologies
  • Facilitate regular technology and business reviews with partner
  • Maintain awareness of major market & competitive trends and share them with internal stakeholders

What are we looking for?


  • Understanding of cloud and other IoT technologies like security and wireless connectivity
  • Knowledge of MCUs and development tools technologies
  • Prior experience managing programs in a cross-functional environment
  • Prior experience managing strategic relationships (customer or partner)
  • Understanding of technical and business trends, competitors’ positioning, and customer requirements in embedded & cloud applications
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • (Desireable) Experience with a variety of fundamental AIoT technologies like cloud, wireless, security, safety, low power design, etc.
