Title:  Senior Staff Field Applications Engineer (FAE) (f/m/d)

Job Summary:

•    Develop and support new customers and markets in close collaboration with sales.
•    Secure design wins through active customer project support.
•    Establish relation to technical decision makers at the customer, present and support the Renesas portfolio.
•    Training of distribution partners, business development managers and field application engineers.
•    Working in an international business environment with regular contacts to US and Asia.
•    Including travel within the region for customer and partner support.
 
Your Profile:

•    Electronics or Software Engineering degree, relevant experience in the field of technical and project support of Microcontroller or Micro Processor devices, ideally market background on semiconductor applications and experience with distribution.
•    Ability to support customers in all project phases (platform evaluation, PCB design, application development, software integration of driver/protocol stacks/real-time operating system)
•    Detailed knowledge on 16- and 32-bit Microcontroller-/ MPUs required.
•    Relevant Engineering background, C, C++ and Object-oriented programming and common communication stacks.
•    Good understanding of LINUX environment including development tools. 
•    Ability to present in front of customers. Problem solving skills, creativity, and analytic thinking. 
•    Good communication skills and team spirit.
•    Very Good command of English and German.
