Renesas is looking for an experienced

Account Manager for Automotive Semiconductors (f/m/d)

based out of our Düsseldorf, Germany

 

to be responsible for developing sales and design-in objectives at target accounts in the automotive semiconductor industry. This entails initiating and coordination global account resources to optimize alignment with the customer, resulting in revenue growth.

The role requires a highly motivated, customer oriented, Account Manager (f/m/d) with knowledge of Automotive car manufacturers and their tier suppliers.

 

Your Role:

These include creating sales strategies to penetrate targeted application areas, convincing customers about Renesas solutions through complex evaluation processes, achieving tangible design in/win results, keeping account profiles and making technical presentations to customers.

  • Business Development:
    • Set account design-in and revenue goals
    • Develop and execute detailed sales strategies driving revenue growth
    • Exhibit capabilities to increase the number of new opportunities and drive design-wins for Renesas
    • Forecast revenue and design-ins
    • Cooperate with other departments and regions to support account’s
  • Customer Relationship Development:
    • Establish contacts at every department and levels of customer organization
    • Drive relationships between top management
  • Reporting:
    • Report on business development progress, against targets
    • Report on mid-term account revenue forecast
    • Develop, execute and review account strategy with management

 

Your Profile:

  • Engineering University Degree - preferably in Electrical Engineering
  • Automotive industry experience and good understanding of automotive requirements
  • Ability to develop an account strategy with a clear set of targets, aligned with Renesas’ strategy, plan a course of actions with constant progress check
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor automotive segment, key customers and their applications is preferred
  • Knowledge or past selling experience with MCU’s and SoC’s is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with customers, internal organization and management
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Agile with every required IT systems
  • Fluent in German and English
  • With a sense of humor
