Sr. Test Engineering Manager (m/w/d)

based out of our Dresden office in Germany

 

To further strengthen our automotive sensor division group (including SSC, position sensing and Lidar) at our Dresden location we are looking for a Sr. Test Engineering Manager to develop next generation power/mixed signal technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Manage a group of more than 10 test engineers responsible for NPI in the Automotive sensor products division
  • Supervise and lead the strategy of developing innovative Test Concept and easy to use Test Specification for Automotive Sensor IC products
  • Work closely with IC Design team to develop DfT strategy
  • Drive the test development activities for the team during the different product development
  • Organize HW reviews for WT and FT with cross functional team  (Design, Validation)
  • Work closely with Validation & Design manager to ensure thorough characterization of the IC products
  • Build strong relation with offshore production manager for automotive sensor IC products
  • Coordinate transfer knowledge to offshore test engineer assigned to Sensor products.
  • Responsible of production test transfer to offshore production facilities
  • Responsible for cost improvements activities over all sensor products
  • Support of customer complaints, support of device analyzes, application support
  • Support first customer samples testing, pre-qualification and mass production release
  • Grow the team towards NPI focus and ownership of the products.
  • Create and track KPI for the team

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in the fields of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, Master preferred
  • Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in the field of test engineering and with 5 years of management experience
  • Hands on and support management style required with experience in debugging and supporting Test engineers
  • Experience with offshore production support (worked few months overseas…)
  • Knowledge of handling and programming of Automated Test equipment (e.g. Advantest V93000)
  • Experienced developing and verifying test programs in C/ C++
  • Capable to develop and review schematics for load boards for FT and WT. Knowledgeable about signal integrity and best practice layout to conduct layout reviews with external PCB house.
  • Experienced in debugging load boards with lab equipment like oscilloscope, generators, DMM etc…
  • Knowledgeable in circuit design of analog/ mixed-signal circuits, as well as in the use of DfT methods
  • Familiar with statistical tools (DataPower, Excel, Jump …) and process application (JIRA, Agile etc…)
  • Good communication and technical reporting skills, both written and oral
  • At ease in multicultural environment and result oriented
  • Experience in automotive development process and standards, especially ISO 16949 & 26262 is highly appreciated
  • Fluent in English
