We are looking for an Intern (f/m/d)  for our Gas Sensor-Team in Dresden.


As part of the gas sensor team your responsibility would be to develop an enhanced MCU based serial-bus Communication Board to enable flexibility and high-speed operations

We always look for highly motivated staff with expertise in chemistry, electronics and/or programming.


Your tasks:


  • Create concept and requirement specification based on research of modern technologies, input from internal teams and existing solution
  • Product conception, production-oriented product design and cooperation with assembly partners
  • Conception and development of Firmware for USB to serial bus converter (USB-I2C, USB-SPI)
  • Definition and documentation of API to control the Firmware
  • Development of automated test cases to test and validate the requirements during production


Your profile:


  • Studies in mechatronics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science or information system technology
  • Good programming skills (C, C++) and/or CAD design skills (Altium)
  • Knowledge in serial bus systems (I2C, SPI, …)
  • Experience with versioning tools (SVN, Git, …)
  • Interest in working on challenging tasks with responsibility and international teams
  • Fluent in English and German
